A comprehensive set of numeracy resources that are in line with the NZ Maths Website and the Numeracy Project currently taught in New Zealand schools. The series comprises of teaching books, laminated cards and supporting Activity CDs.
Each book contains teaching points and activities, practical and written student activities, initial and follow up tests and a checklist. All books also contain a full homework section that can act as reinforcement activities for the concepts taught. The books are laser printed in black and white for ease of photocopying from, but Books 1 - 6 do contain coloured flash cards at the back that can be removed and laminated. Books 5, 6, 7 and 8 also contain answer pages.
Each Activity CD has a collection of additional worksheets and games that can be printed from or used on an interactive whiteboard, plus maintenance worksheets for each stage that have a series of quick-fire questions to practice and reinforce both the knowledge and strategy aspects covered at each stage. The activities on the CD match directly to the teaching books and are designed to support and enhance the students' learning. All documents in PDF format.
