Each set contains kitset reading books, activity sheets, homework sheets, flashcards and check sheets. The sets cover reading levels 1 - 11 and incorporate reading strategies taught in New Zealand schools.

Introduction to Chapter Reading is a series of comprehensive reading units, written by Jean Wotton, that use chapter books as the basis for learning and developing reading confidence and enjoyment. Each series contains separate coloured chapters in a booklet form and seven corresponding activity sheets to investigate the chapter in depth at a word, sentence and text level. Some of the activities use the ‘Tutor System’ so students can independently check their own work. There is a strict copyright on the chapters.
